The suspended solids sensor is based on infrared scattered light technology. This means that when infrared light emitted by the light source passes through the sample being measured during transmission, scattering occurs. The intensity of this scattered light is directly proportional to the concentration of suspended solids. The suspended solids sensor features a scattered light receiver positioned at a 90-degree angle, which determines the suspended solids concentration by analyzing the intensity of this scattered light. It can be widely applied for suspended solids monitoring in sewage treatment plants, water supply plants, water stations, surface water systems, industrial facilities, and other related fields.
